Details

Gwen is a clever con artist who stumbles upon an opportunity when she discovers an empty house owned by a man named Newton. Seeing the potential for a perfect scam, Gwen decides to pose as Newton's new wife and moves into the house without his knowledge.

As Gwen sets up the house to appear lived-in, she charms the local townspeople with her wit and charisma, slowly winning them over as she weaves convincing stories about her relationship with Newton. However, her scheme is put in jeopardy when Newton returns to the town and is shocked to find Gwen living in his house.

Newton is initially furious and demands that Gwen leave immediately, but her quick thinking and infectious personality begin to melt his heart. Surprised by her resourcefulness and impressed by her ability to make him happy, Newton reluctantly agrees to let Gwen stay under the condition that their relationship is strictly platonic.

As Gwen continues to deceive the townspeople and maintain her elaborate charade, she and Newton find themselves growing closer and developing genuine feelings for each other. They navigate the challenges of their unconventional relationship while trying to keep Gwen's true identity a secret from the prying eyes of the town.

HouseSitter is a heartwarming romantic comedy that combines clever deception, witty humor, and unexpected romance. Viewers will be entertained as Gwen's elaborate ruse unfolds and discover whether true love can blossom from a relationship built on lies.
